he Pride Racing stem is designed for use in BMX racing. It is not a TopLoad, not a FrontLoad, the FTL is represented as a Front/Top Load stem. A part made under the request of a Pride Racing Top Rider, Renaud Blanc. This stem allows you to lower your riding position to make the bike even more responsive and playful. With its very low rise, it has a flat surface on the underside of the stem, to avoid hitting the top tube of the frame during a crash. The stem is made from 6061-T6 Aluminium, CNC machined in one piece.
With 54mm of width on the handlebar clamping surface, this provides a lot of comfort when riding. The stem is also available in 35mm length, making the FTL the shortest stem on the BMX Race market today. Having a 35mm stem allows you to compensate for the size of the top tube. If you are planning to change to a bigger frame, if the Rider Area seems too big, you can compensate with a 35mm long stem. This shortens your length and gives you a more playful and responsive bike. This FTL Pride Racing stem is only available in 31.8mm diameter (handlebar clamp).
NOTE: You can also choose a Titanium bolt pattern, which saves 50g on the overall weight of your stem.
